About OKC Rocketry

A brief history

OKC Rocketry is a fully recognized section of the National Association of Rocketry (NAR). Our section was originally established in 2008 as Piedmont Area Rocketry Club by Rags Fairbanks, who relocated to the Dallas area in 2015. In 2021 we rebranded our club as OKC rocketry but have kept the basic design of the original PARC logo to honor Rags our founder and the PARC legacy we’ve inherited.

Our clubs leadership today is an energetic and enthusiastic team of rocketry advocates who honor the past while looking toward the future. We meet every month either for a launch or for a meeting to learn, discuss, and or plan. Our launch site is located near the intersection of HW 412 and I-35 near Billings, OK.
